Engine Tear down with hours

We watched Jeff tear down a engine remove the turbo take the head apart and correct procedure to do this. We thought it could be a rod that broke the hole in the engine but after the tear down we discovered that it was a  shaft balance weight that came off and broke a hole in the side of the block.I learned not to come to conclusions before the job is complete.I also learned how to take apart a top end of a engine something i have been looking forward to knowing. .
